About the role

Join the dynamic team at Solar Company as a Solar Engineer. In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in the design, installation, and maintenance of solar energy systems across Santa Cruz Manila City Metro Manila. Your expertise in electrical and electronic engineering will be instrumental in driving the company's goals of providing sustainable energy solutions to our clients.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conduct site assessments and analyze energy requirements to design efficient solar photovoltaic systems
  2. Oversee the installation and commissioning of solar panels, inverters, and other electrical components
  3. Monitor and troubleshoot solar energy systems to ensure optimal performance and identify maintenance needs
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and stay up-to-date with industry trends
  5. Provide technical guidance and support to clients throughout the lifetime of their solar energy systems
  6. Maintain thorough documentation and record-keeping to comply with industry standards and regulations

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
  2. At least 1-3 years of experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of solar energy systems
  3. Strong understanding of solar photovoltaic technology, electrical systems, and relevant codes and standards
  4. Proficient in using design software, project management tools, and data analysis techniques
  5. Experience with any solar design software for system modelling and planning
  6. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results
  8. Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
