Sales Engineer

Omnivoltaic is seeking a dynamic Sales Engineerto lead and expand our sales of solar off-grid products, including solar lamps, energy storage solutions, and e-mobility products, within the Philippines market and the Asia/Pacific region. This role requires strategic sales planning, strong customer relationship management, and a results-driven approach to revenue growth.
We are looking for a dynamic Sales Engineer with strong technical expertise in solar
photovoltaic (PV) and hybrid energy systems (e.g., solar + battery, solar + genset) to join our
Manila-based team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in technical system design, and
client relationship management, helping drive the adoption of renewable energy solutions in the commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Pre-Sales Support
- Conduct site surveys and energy audits to assess feasibility of solar and hybrid
- installations.
- Design and propose grid-tied, off-grid, and hybrid energy systems based on client
requirements.
- Create technical proposals and return on investment (ROI) analyses for clients.
Sales & Client Engagementclients.Project Coordination
- Identify and pursue sales leads in NCR and neighboring regions.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and demos.
- Prepare quotations, respond to RFPs and tenders, and assist in contract negotiations.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate, government, and private
Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, and installers to ensure project
- alignment.
Serve as the main technical point of contact from pre-sales to post-installation.
Assist in documentation, permitting, and compliance with DOE, ERC, and local
government requirements.You sentQualificationsRenewable Energy, or a related field.engineering experience preferred.Technical Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in solar PV and hybrid systems; prior sales
Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, battery storage, and genset
- integration.
Familiar with Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) and solar permitting processes.
Proficient in tools like PVSyst, AutoCAD, Excel, and SketchUp.
- Certifications (Preferred but not required):
- PRC License (for engineers)
- TESDA NCII – Solar PV Installation
Solar Design/Installer CertificationsCore Competencies
Strong communication and presentation skills (English and Filipino).
- Excellent negotiation and consultative selling abilities.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple accounts or projects.
- Passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
