About the Role

Grand Apex Constructions Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistic and Motorpool Officer - Mechanical Engineering to join our dynamic team. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient management of our logistics and motor pool operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of our construction projects in Cainta Rizal.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage the maintenance, repair, and servicing of our fleet of construction vehicles and equipment
  2. Coordinate the logistics of material and equipment transportation to project sites
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimise the utilisation of our motor pool resources
  4. Monitor fuel consumption, maintain detailed records, and ensure compliance with budgetary requirements
  5. Collaborate with project managers to anticipate and address logistical challenges
  6. Supervise a team of mechanics and logistics personnel, providing guidance and oversight
  7. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programmes to maximise the lifespan of our assets
  8. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any issues or inefficiencies

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry
  3. Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair, and logistics management
  4. Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
  5. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  6. Proficient in using relevant software and tools for fleet management and logistics
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  8. Adaptable to changing priorities and able to work under pressure
