The Sales and Marketing Officer is responsible for promoting the company's construction services, developing new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and implementing marketing strategies to drive growth. This role combines sales expertise with marketing skills to increase brand visibility and revenue in a competitive construction market

Duties and Responsibilities

Sales Duties:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in construction projects (residential, commercial, infrastructure, etc.).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, developers, consultants, and government agencies.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential customers.
  • Follow up on leads, inquiries, and tenders to convert prospects into clients.
  • Coordinate with the project management and estimation teams to ensure accurate pricing and timely delivery of bids.

Marketing Duties:

  • Develop and execute marketing plans, campaigns, and promotional activities to enhance brand awareness.
  • Manage social media platforms, website content, and online marketing initiatives.
  • Create marketing materials (brochures, project portfolios, presentations, etc.) aligned with company branding.
  • Analyze marketing performance metrics and prepare reports on ROI and campaign effectiveness.
  • Support public relations and client communication efforts to maintain a positive corporate image.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, tendering, and project management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM or marketing software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Results-driven with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
