Job Purpose: The Safety Officer aims to fulfill the company's commitment to provide a safe and healthful environment and to conduct its operations in compliance to ISO 45001 and other applicable Safety standards.

Key Accountabilities:

•Perform required duties set out in Rule 1047 of the DOLE OSH Standard as Safety Officer 3.

•Facilitate Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Determining Controls on existing and new processes and equipment.

•Conduct investigation and root cause analysis of accidents, health related issues, and other safety related issues and submit report to his/her immediate leader and to the Bureau if necessary.

•Conduct safety inspections and audits.

•Provide assistance to government agencies in the conduct of safety and health inspection, accident investigation or any other related programs.

•Ensure Emergency Preparedness Response readiness.

•Act as Fire Safety Practitioner.

•Drive the Emergency Response Team to coordinate emergency response efforts.

•Ensure that the necessary emergency procedures are in place and updated as necessary.

•Plan, organize, implement, and coordinate drills, emergency training and other related activities.

•Facilitate compliance, securing, application and renewal of necessary permits to DOLE, BFP and other government regulatory agencies.

•Prepare and submit periodic reports as required by the government agencies.

•Performs other related tasks that may be assigned.

Qualifications:

Education Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

Candidate profile requirements and desires:

•SO3 (Minimum trainings: BOSH, LCM plus)

•at least 3 yrs experience as SO, preferably in BPO setting

•good communication and collaboration skills

Work schedule: 09:00PM-06:00AM (Primary) | Onsite
