Job Description

As a Jr. Lock Desk Analyst, you'll be responsible for collecting, managing, and analyzing data to support financial decisions, ensuring smooth settlement transactions, and driving process improvements. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage dashboards, and help forecast trends using tools and predictive models.

The Qualifications We Seek

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
• Master's degree or CFA designation is a plus
• 1-3 years of experience in capital markets, investment banking, or corporate finance
• Proficiency in financial modeling, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and analysis software
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Bloomberg, Reuters, or other platforms is a plus
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a team-oriented environment
• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills

Your Daily Tasks

Data Collection & Management

• Gather, process, and clean data from various sources
• Maintain secure and efficient data storage

Data Analysis

• Analyze data to identify trends and insights
• Use statistical methods for forecasting and reporting

Reporting

• Build dashboards and prepare reports for stakeholders
• Provide regular updates on KPIs and performance metrics

Transaction Management

• Manage loan purchase settlement transactions
• Coordinate with internal and external parties for efficient transaction flow

Cross-Department Collaboration

• Work with various departments to provide analytical support
• Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to enhance data processes

Optimization & Strategy

• Identify and implement data-driven strategies
• Monitor effectiveness of strategies and suggest improvements

Tool Proficiency & Analytics

• Stay updated with the latest data tools and analytics trends
• Develop predictive models using machine learning

Compliance & Other Duties

• Participate in reporting for compliance and ad-hoc tasks
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address credit-related concerns
• Perform additional tasks as assigned
