HR SUPERVISOR (PAO CAFE MAKATI CITY – F&B INDUSTRY)

About the Role

The HR Supervisor oversees daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with Philippine labor laws and company policies. This role supports HR initiatives, supervises HR Assistants/Officers, and works closely with Operations Managers to ensure effective workforce management across all F&B outlets.


Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for both store and office positions, ensuring alignment with manpower plans.
  • Develop effective sourcing strategies to attract high-performing candidates in the F&B industry.
  • Oversee onboarding and orientation to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
  • Coordinate with Operations Managers to forecast manpower requirements.

2. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as the main contact for employee relations concerns, ensuring fair and consistent policy implementation.
  • Mediate and resolve workplace issues professionally while maintaining confidentiality and trust.
  • Drive employee engagement programs, recognition activities, and internal communication campaigns.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive company culture built on teamwork, accountability, and respect.

3. Timekeeping, Payroll & Attendance Management

  • Supervise accurate monitoring of attendance, leaves, and overtime.
  • Validate and coordinate payroll data with the Finance/Payroll team for timely salary processing.
  • Review compliance with shift schedules and labor hour standards per DOLE regulations.

4. Compliance, Documentation & HRIS

  • Ensure compliance with DOLE regulations and statutory benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
  • Maintain and audit employee 201 files, contracts, and legal HR documentation.
  • Oversee HRIS data integrity and generate analytics for management decision-making.

5. Training, Performance & Development

  • Identify training gaps and work with department heads to implement learning initiatives.
  • Support performance appraisal systems, including KPI tracking and feedback.
  • Encourage a culture of learning and professional growth.

6. HR Strategy & Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to developing HR policies, process enhancements, and organizational projects.
  • Participate in manpower planning, compensation review, and retention programs.
  • Analyze HR metrics (turnover, attendance, recruitment timelines) to drive data-based decisions.

7. Supervision & Leadership

  • Coach, mentor, and monitor HR Assistants/Officers in their daily HR functions.
  • Ensure consistency and compliance in HR service delivery across outlets.
  • Prepare and present HR reports and recommendations to management.

8. Other Duties

  • Perform other HR-related tasks or projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 4–5 years of solid HR experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role (preferably in F&B or retail).
  • Strong knowledge of the Philippine Labor Code and HR best practices.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Willing to work on-site in Makati City.
