Ensures the safety of people, protection of property, and enforcement of order within the premises by leading day-to-day security operations, incident response, risk mitigation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and brand standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leads daily security rounds to identify hazards, obstructions, abandoned items, and unsafe behavior.
  • Coordinates with sanitation and maintenance teams, or law enforcement, if necessary, for the removal of hazardous items.
  • Enforces security protocols
  • Verifies security credentials of renovation workers and monitors lessee compliance during buildouts.
  • Responds to and/or investigates theft, trespassing, vandalism, and injury incidents, ensuring compliance with the law, maximum tolerance, and accurate reporting.
  • Responds to crisis and emergency cases as part of the Emergency Response Team of the property.
  • Monitors post coverage, rotation, and deployment of security guards to maintain 24-hour visibility.
  • Conducts regular inspections of guards for alertness, grooming, and adherence to Customer Mania standards.
  • Reviews logbooks, verifies roving reports, and spot-checks priority zones (entrances, back-of-house, parking).
  • Coordinates with police or barangay units regarding criminal cases and official incident documentation.
  • Secures law enforcement support for local store events; liaises with on-site police helpdesk when needed
  • Leads scheduled fire and earthquake drills and submits readiness reports.
  • Maintains records of firearms, incident logs, inspection checklists, and permits.
  • Ensures all security and safety gear (radios, flashlights, fire extinguishers) is functional and accounted for.
  • Performs other duties as assigned, from time to time

Qualifications

Education

  • BS degree holder
  • BOSH/ CSO certified, an advantage

Experience

  • At least three (3) years of supervisory experience as Security Officer/Supervisor in corporate set up
