Ortigas Metro Manila, Philippines Asia Teleservices, Inc. Full time

The General Accounting Staff is responsible for ensuring accurate financial records and supporting efficient accounting operations for the Carrier Wholesale Division. The role includes managing traffic exchange accounts, coordinating with international carrier finance teams, and maintaining accurate billing, reporting, and reconciliation processes. Training will be provided to qualified candidates.

Job Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor prepayments and wholesale accounts to ensure service continuity.
  • Prepare swap monitor reports and post confirmed swap deals in the WS system.
  • Verify swap entries and coordinate with the Rates Team on proper rate charging.
  • Respond to Account Manager inquiries and generate Credit Control Reports.
  • Maintain and reconcile billing records, including resolving discrepancies and preparing adjustment notes.
  • Support Accounts Receivable/Payable tasks and assist the HK accounts team.
  • Post journal vouchers, including payroll-related entries, and reconcile sub-ledgers with the General Ledger.
  • Prepare management reports, budgets, and variance analyses.
  • Collaborate with auditors and the Finance Manager-HK to address accounting issues.
  • Ensure timely posting of all period-end transactions and accurate recording of historical data.
  • Monitor monthly credit control and reconcile bank, customer, and vendor payments.
  • Handle taxation requirements (withholding tax, VAT) per Philippine standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of experience in finance and accounting; strong knowledge of accounting systems.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, mathematical, and statistical abilities.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
