What is your mission?

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior General Accountant to support financial operations, focusing on inventory, cost analysis, and reconciliations. The role involves managing postings, ensuring accurate month-end reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. Ideal candidates have strong technical accounting skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently under UK business hours.

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

  • Perform accurate coding, posting, and reconciliation of financial transactions.
  • Monitor accounting inboxes and process AP and financial reporting requests promptly.
  • Track and organize invoices using the AP Master Excel sheet and maintain up-to-date invoice status.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze inventory levels, costs, and performance factors.
  • Support month-end closing activities for inventory, COGS, and general ledger accounts.
  • Conduct variance and flux analysis to support management decisions.
  • Maintain accounting policies and process documentation in line with SOX compliance.
  • Assist with audit requests and ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Participate in ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as assigned.
Who are we looking for?
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger principles.
  • Skilled in accounting postings, reconciliations, and bank reconciliation processes.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting systems and financial controls.
  • Proficient in Excel and able to handle high-volume data accurately.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Strong English communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • CPA certification preferred but not required.
  • Willing to work during UK business hours.
  • Fast learner with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
