General Accountant (Night Shift) — Join a High-Performing, Supportive Finance Team in the Mortgage Industry

We are looking for a General Accountant to join our Finance Team in Ortigas Center. In this role, you'll work closely with Finance leadership, Home Office staff, and Branch employees to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely accounting operations. You'll receive strong mentoring and coaching, but you'll also be trusted to work independently once trained—making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow and take ownership of their work.

What You'll Do

You'll play a key role in daily and monthly accounting operations, including:

  • Uploading e-bills and daily payments
  • Updating interest calculation worksheets with borrower payments
  • Preparing the daily impound workbook
  • Uploading purchase journals and warehouse settlement journals
  • Uploading funding warehouse journals
  • Pulling and formatting warehouse reports each morning
  • Managing construction loan readvances and draw clearings
  • Completing daily loan servicing reconciliation
  • Handling cash reconciliations for 10+ accounts during month-end
  • Uploading MIP journals daily

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys structured processes, detailed reconciliation work, and consistent collaboration with a wider accounting team.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in corporate accounting
  • Working knowledge of GAAP
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to work night shift
  • Must be able to work on-site in Ortigas Center
