DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Culinary Operations

  • Develop and design menus for all hotel outlets, functions, and banquet operations aligned with market trends and guest preferences.
  • Ensure excellent food quality, flavor, presentation, and consistency across all kitchens.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth coordination across outlets.
  • Conduct regular tasting sessions and quality checks.

B. Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to uphold high culinary standards.
  • Develop staffing schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
  • Conduct coaching, performance evaluations, and corrective actions when necessary.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and productive team environment.

C. Cost Control & Inventory Management

  • Manage food cost, labor cost, and overhead expenses within budget.
  • Oversee purchasing, receiving, and storage of food supplies to ensure quality and minimize wastage.
  • Implement cost-efficient processes without compromising quality.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records.

D. Kitchen Safety, Hygiene & Compliance

  • Ensure all kitchen areas follow local health and sanitation standards.
  • Enforce proper food handling, preparation, and storage procedures.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance, cleanliness, and safe usage.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, government regulations, and HACCP standards.

E. Guest Satisfaction & Hotel Collaboration

  • Work closely with the F&B Manager, Banquet Manager, and Outlet Managers in menu planning and event execution.
  • Engage with guests to understand feedback and continuously improve the culinary experience.
  • Support sales and marketing initiatives through special menus, promotions, and seasonal offerings.

F. Administration

  • Prepare annual budgets for kitchen operations.
  • Create reports on food cost, inventory, manpower, and kitchen performance.
  • Participate in management meetings and contribute to strategic planning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php80, Php130,000.00 per month
