
Assistant Purchaser

This position plays a crucial role in maintaining product quality, cost efficiency, and operational readiness by coordinating with suppliers, the kitchen, and other departments. The Assistant Purchaser also ensures that purchasing activities are compliant with company standards and aligned with budget requirements.
- Source out and evaluate new suppliers to ensure the availability of high-quality products at competitive prices.
- Assist in negotiating purchase terms, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment conditions.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, reliability, and compliance
- Place stock orders in coordination with kitchen, bar, and operations teams based on consumption needs and forecasted demand.
- Monitor stock levels regularly to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Counter-check inventory records against actual stock to ensure accuracy and detect variances.
- Prepare and review Purchase Orders (PO) and Delivery Receipts (DR) for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure all purchasing transactions are properly documented and filed for audit purposes.
- Reconcile purchasing records with accounting to support timely payments.
- Track and report any discrepancies between ordered and delivered items.
