The HR Operations Manager will oversee the HR operations team, focusing on optimizing processes, managing employee benefits, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. This role is essential in creating a streamlined, efficient, and employee-focused HR environment.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Operations Oversight: Manage daily HR operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Lead benefits administration, and HR services, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows. Collaborate with HR, finance, and department heads to address any benefits and personnel administration needs or discrepancies.
- Process Improvement and Automation: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement technology solutions to streamline benefits and personnel administration processes. Ensure the efficient use of HRIS systems, recommending upgrades or enhancements as needed. Monitor and analyze metrics to optimize productivity and operational efficiency.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies to maintain compliance and minimize risk. Conduct regular audits and prepare for external audits by ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with reporting requirements. Stay up-to-date on changes in payroll laws, tax codes, and HR regulations to ensure organizational compliance.
- Team Leadership and Development: Supervise, train, and support HR and payroll staff, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration. Develop and implement training programs to improve team proficiency in HR and payroll processes. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to help team members reach their full potential.
- ·Reporting and Strategic Analysis: Prepare and present HR and payroll metrics and reports to senior management, providing insights into trends, costs, and areas for improvement. Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting efforts to ensure efficient use of resources. Participate in strategic planning and contribute ideas to enhance the employee experience and overall organizational effectiveness.
Who are you?
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of HR operations experience, with 3+ years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- With background in a BPO or Shared Service industry
- In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Amenable to Deployment: Must be willing to work within the JG Summit Holdings, Inc. Shared Services Arm (Aspen Business Solutions Inc.)
