Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly organized and efficient Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities. The ideal candidate will ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal. This role involves managing inventory, receiving and dispatching shipments, and ensuring that all warehouse processes run smoothly and promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations:

  • Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
  • Ensure efficient space utilization within the warehouse.
  • Implement and maintain warehouse best practices, including 5S, lean, and other continuous improvement methodologies.

Inventory Management:

  • Oversee inventory control processes to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
  • Manage stock discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of warehouse associates.
  • Assign and delegate tasks to warehouse staff, ensuring that all activities are completed accurately and on time.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Health and Safety Compliance:

  • Enforce and maintain health and safety standards within the warehouse.
  • Ensure all employees follow safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.

Shipping and Receiving:

  • Oversee the receipt and inspection of incoming goods, ensuring they match purchase orders and are in good condition.
  • Coordinate and monitor the dispatch of outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Maintain shipping and receiving documentation and records.

Equipment Maintenance:

  • Ensure that all warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems, are well-maintained and operational.
  • Schedule and oversee regular maintenance and repairs of equipment.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, including stock movements, receipts, and shipments.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Customer Service:

  • Address and resolve any customer service issues related to warehouse operations.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as sales and logistics, to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • With at least 2 years experience in Warehousing.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions.
