Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will develop and execute an electrification and smart power sales strategy within the specified market scope (global/regional) to enhance ABB's market penetration and growth. You will define, plan, lead, and ensure the successful execution of sales strategies to meet qualitative and quantitative targets for products, systems, and services, aiming for sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will lead, develop, and coach the sales team—including sales managers and specialists—to achieve these targets through high performance.
The work model for this role is: #hybrid. This position is based in Parañaque City, Philippines, contributing to the Electrification and Smart Power divisions. Key responsibilities include:
- Proactively identifying and addressing performance shortfalls.
- Exploring and evaluating new opportunities with existing and potential customers, planning implementation, and resource allocation.
- Planning and conducting customer surveys and acting on feedback to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Participating in negotiations of key contracts.
- Providing leadership, coaching, and development for the sales team.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, a related commercial qualification, or recognized equivalent.
- 5-8 years of sales experience in a related industry, with experience managing and leading a team, and strong market intelligence knowledge.
- Ability to collaborate at a senior level within the broader business.
- Experience in financial reporting and cost tracking.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong consulting skills for bid/no-bid decisions, advanced technical knowledge, and understanding of commercial aspects.
