We are seeking a skilled and proactive L2 Production Support Engineer with minimal background in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and extensive hands-on experience with SQL.
In this role, you will be the go-to expert for troubleshooting, optimizing, and supporting complex data workflows in a high-demand production environment.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Extensive SQL experience is a must-have: writing complex queries, performance tuning, analyzing execution plans.
- Solid experience supporting ETL pipelines in a production environment (tools such as Informatica, Talend, DataStage, or custom ETL frameworks).
- Strong understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.).
- Familiarity with data flow debugging, job scheduling systems (e.g., Control-M, Autosys, Airflow), and log analysis.
