The Opportunity

This is building a Level 2 Technical Application Support Center in Manila. We are looking for Application Support Specialists to provide production support across in-scope applications—covering incident management, problem resolution, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main contact between clients and the support center.
  • Monitor jobs, production processes, systems availability, and performance.
  • Perform incident, problem, and service request management.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and provide workarounds or resolutions.
  • Escalate issues to L3 teams when needed.
  • Handle major incidents and participate in SWAT calls.
  • Build tools or processes to improve triage and monitoring.
  • Document and maintain knowledge databases.
  • Support migrations, upgrades, and regular application maintenance.
  • Collaborate with business teams, IT teams, and vendors.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written & verbal).
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle.
  • Willingness to work shifts (APAC/EMEA) and provide on-call/weekend support.
  • Detail-oriented with proven ability in issue management.

Must Have

  • Intermediate-level
    Unix
    and
    SQL/Oracle
    skills.
  • Hands-on experience in
    L2 Technical Application Support
    .
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of
    Java, Microservices, PCF
    .
  • Exposure to monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, Catchpoint, APM).
  • ITIL certification.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow automation and ticketing.
