Job Description:

We are seeking a customer-focused and enthusiastic Associate to join our Billing Division, at Trulaboratories Corporation. As a Billing Associate, be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing processes, maintaining financial records, and supporting the finance department in various billing-related tasks.

Responsibilities

Billing Operations:

  • Generate and process accurate and timely invoices for customers based on sales orders, contracts, and service agreements.
  • Review sales and service documentation to verify pricing, discounts, terms, and conditions for accurate billing.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to resolve any billing discrepancies or issues.
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices and communicate with customers regarding payment status, overdue accounts, and payment arrangements.
  • Coordinate with the finance team to reconcile billing records with financial statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records of billing transactions, adjustments, and communications with customers.
  • Stay updated on billing policies, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and efficient billing processes.

Customer Support:

  • Assist customers with billing-related inquiries, providing prompt and accurate responses to resolve issues or address concerns.
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure a seamless and satisfactory customer experience regarding billing matters.
  • Assist in setting up new customer accounts and updating customer information in the billing system.
  • Work closely with customers to resolve billing disputes, facilitate refunds or credits, and provide necessary documentation or explanations.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to customers regarding billing platforms, online portals, and self-service options.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline billing processes, enhance efficiency, and minimize errors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and system enhancements related to billing operations.
  • Participate in training programs to stay updated on new billing software or tools and improve technical skills.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related finance function is preferred.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using billing software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly.
