I. JOB MISSION/SUMMARY

An account receivable staff is in charge of processing receivables, price verification and posting of payments, preparation of costumer's statement of account with discrepancies and provide other functions.

II. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Invoice and Accounts Receivable Maintenance

  1. Safe keeping of sales invoices, transfer in trust, credit investigation form for depot accounts.
  2. Price verification of delivered sales invoices on daily basis.
  3. Checking of Return Merchandise Authorization upon receipt of document.
  4. Preparation of invoice adjustment form (sales discount, withholding tax, price adjustment).
  5. Price verification of pick-up transaction within 2 minutes per invoice.
  6. Prepare weekly invoices due for collection for out of town account executive.
  7. Prepares the necessary documents needed to facilitate collection (list of customers with outstanding accounts, customer statement account, etc.)
  8. Arranges application of payment on the account envelope
  9. Checks balances, discrepancies and prepares customer's statement of account.
  10. Check and compute w/tax for all entitled costumer.
  11. Maintains files of paid invoices to facilitate easy retrieval or location when necessary.
  12. Maintains monthly lists of withholding tax.
  13. Coordinates with sales coordinator regarding invoices with discrepancies.
  14. Coordinate with legal section on costumers with legal cases.
  15. Prepares statement of account for costumer with discrepancies, unpaid and overdue accounts.

III. JOB SPECIFICATION

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in BS Accountancy, BS Business Administration or in any field.
  • At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Required Skill(s): knowledge in basic computer software application including word and excel
  • Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent.
