Job Summary:

The Accounting Staff is responsible for supporting the company's financial and accounting operations. This includes preparing vouchers and invoices, processing payments, monitoring cash advances, and ensuring accurate and timely submission of BIR reports and statutory requirements. The role also involves proper recording of transactions in the accounting system, organizing financial documents, and assisting in the preparation and consolidation of financial statements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience .
  • Knowledge in BIR reports and compliance is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and computerized accounting systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares vouchers with corresponding accounting entries.
  • Prepares customers' invoices and delivery receipts.
  • Prepares all addresses of VAT-registered suppliers/customers for monthly input tax encoding.
  • Timely preparation and processing of statutory benefits reports and payments.
  • Monitors employees' cash advances.
  • Prepares and files BIR reports and requirements.
  • Processes bills and invoices for payments.
  • Ensures transactions are properly recorded and entered into the accounting system.
  • Prepares and files the following:
  • Summary List of Sales, Purchases, Importations (SLSP)
  • Summary Alphalist of Withholding Taxes (SAWT)
  • Monthly Alphalist of Payees (MAP)
  • Annual Withholding Tax Reports
  • Generates and submits files through the BIR Relief System and e-Submission.
  • Sorts and files import entry documents.
  • Reviews and consolidates branch financial statements and other financial reports.
  • Compiles and sorts accounting documents (invoices, delivery receipts, vouchers).
  • Posts cash receipts accurately and promptly.
