About the role

As a Senior Accountant at B1G Corporation, you will play a crucial role in the company's financial operations. This is a full-time position based in Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila. You will be responsible for providing strategic and high-quality taxation services to support the company's growth and compliance goals.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and review complex tax returns and filings to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on tax planning and optimization strategies to minimise the company's tax liability

  • Analyse financial data, identify tax-saving opportunities, and recommend appropriate courses of action

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of tax considerations into business decisions

  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and proactively communicate their impact to the organisation

  • Mentor and train junior members of the accounting team to develop their tax expertise

  • Participate in the development and implementation of tax-related policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience in taxation, preferably in a large or complex organisation

  • Strong technical expertise in tax legislation, regulations, and compliance

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide commercially-focused solutions

  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality and timely tax services to both operational and strategic stakeholders

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly to non-finance professionals

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop junior team members

  • Relevant professional qualifications, such as CPA or Chartered Accountant, are highly preferred
