Staff Accountant Position

We are seeking a skilled Staff Accountant to supervise general accounting operations and control financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile account balances and bank statements, maintain the general ledger, and prepare month-end close procedures.
  • Review and analyze financial data, create reports on financial status based on analysis results, and present them to executives and senior management.
  • Develop recommendations to optimize accounting systems and procedures, detect inaccuracies, and support personnel on accounting control procedures.
  • Supervise accounting assistants and bookkeepers, plan their work, assign tasks, and participate in forecasting and financial standards setting processes.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience as a Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, Chief or Senior Accountant.
  • Profound experience with typical accounting procedures, including general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes.
  • Good knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting software packages like FreshBooks and QuickBooks.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant certifications like CMA or CPA are a bonus.
