We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support the General Ledger team and oversee Junior Accountants. You will assist in monthly financial reporting, month-end closing activities, and coordinate with local finance teams to resolve discrepancies. This role offers exposure to various finance processes within our Shared Services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and review Junior Accountants' work
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and schedules for assigned Business Units
  • Coordinate month-end closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts, inventory, bank statements, and intercompany transactions
  • Liaise with BU Finance teams and CFO regarding account issues
  • Recommend improvements in accounting procedures and systems
  • Maintain fixed asset records and assist with regular reporting
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and monitor outstanding items
  • Support finance projects and other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy; CPA preferred
  • Minimum 5 years experience in audit or financial accounting
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics D365 or equivalent
  • Strong Excel and computer skills
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks under pressure
  • Experience in a Shared Services or multinational environment is highly preferred
