It's our honor to outsource a Senior Accountant for a global leader in water, hygiene, and infection prevention solutions and services.

This role is responsible for the more complex activities associated with maintaining ledger accounts and for developing financial statements and reports. This is the most senior skill level, without supervisory responsibility. The Job may provide functional advice or training to less experienced accountants.

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities

  • Ensures timely and accurate posting of inventories and expenses.

  • Handles inventory module in ACCPAC and System 7.

  • Costing of Importations (Total Landed Cost)

  • Checking of Goods Receipts, Supplier's Invoice and Purchase Order (Three Way Matching)
  • Responsible for vendor invoice entry (IR) for posted goods receipts (GR) including the custom duties, inland freight and clearing charges and post to AP module.
  • Generate PPV
  • Reconcile inventory SL and GL balance and prepare journal entries related to inventory.
  • Prepare the consignment schedule and made the necessary entry.
  • Print Reports: Inventory GL, Stock Movement, Inventory Value Report and Slow Moving Report

  • Keeps and maintain records for Inventory related documents and Warehouse RR.

  • Doing month-end closing of various allocation of expenses with marketing, laboratory, sales managers, NWPA and NWPB, technicians, miscellaneous equity earnings and other Income/Expenses

  • Responsible for setting-up new codes in the Chart of Accounts in System 7.

  • Keeps and maintains records of realties and in-charge in the preparation of Tax Returns.

  • Other duties/ tasks that may be assigned by immediate superior.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing company
  • Strong background in cost and inventory accounting specializing in standard costing
  • Certified Public Accountant preferred
  • Knowledge in Accpac/System7/SAP preferred
  • Must have knowledge in financial statement preparation and taxation
  • Computer Literate with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Can communicate orally and in writing

Area of assignment: Filinvest City, Alabang, Muntinlupa

Schedule: 8-hour shift; Day shift

Supplemental Pay: 13th month salary; Overtime pay

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term

Pay: Php55, Php65,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
