POSITION SUMMARY

  • The Room Division Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations within the rooms division of a hotel, including the front office, housekeeping, concierge, reservations, and guest services. The role ensures that guests receive outstanding service and that all rooms division departments run smoothly, efficiently, and profitably while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
  • SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operational Management:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the front office, housekeeping, concierge, and guest services departments.
  • Ensure smooth check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Coordinate room assignments, occupancy levels, and special guest requests.
  • Monitor the cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation of guest rooms and public areas.
  • Staff Management:
  • Lead, train, and motivate teams across the rooms division.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback.
  • Schedule staff to ensure coverage while controlling labor costs.
  • Guest Relations:
  • Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction through service excellence.
  • Implement and uphold customer service standards and protocols.
  • Financial Management:
  • Assist in preparing and managing the rooms division budget.
  • Monitor and control operational costs and expenses.
  • Analyze revenue reports, occupancy rates, and KPIs to improve profitability.
  • Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, sanitation, and legal regulations.
  • Implement and monitor hotel policies and procedures within the division.
  • Strategic Planning:
  • Participate in planning and forecasting room revenues.
  • Develop and implement departmental goals aligned with the hotel's objectives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 3–5 years in hotel operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role within the rooms division.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in property management systems (PMS), preferably Opera, Fidelio, or similar
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing environments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
