CONSTRUCTION DIVISION MANAGER

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Registered Professional Engineer certification required; Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer designation is a plus.
• Must be aged 40 years or older.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in construction management, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
• Demonstrated success managing large-scale projects across commercial, industrial (such as manufacturing), and infrastructure sectors.

Brief Job Description:

1. Leadership & Management

2. Provide overall direction, leadership, and supervision to project managers, engineers, and site staff.

3. Develop and implement strategic goals for the division in alignment with company objectives.

4. Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and quality excellence.

5. Project Execution

6. Oversee all phases of construction projects, from planning to turnover.

7. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.

8. Approve project schedules, manpower plans, and resource allocation.

9. Monitor progress, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.

10. Financial & Resource Management

11. Prepare and manage the division's annual budget.

12. Monitor project costs, cash flows, and profitability.

13. Optimize resource allocation, including labor, equipment, and materials.

14. Compliance & Quality Assurance

15. Enforce compliance with local laws, building codes, and safety regulations.

16. Ensure adherence to company standards, ISO, and quality management systems.

17. Conduct regular audits, inspections, and reviews to maintain high standards.

18. Client & Stakeholder Relations

19. Act as the primary point of contact for clients and consultants regarding project progress and concerns.

20. Negotiate contracts, variations, and claims with clients and subcontractors.

21. Strengthen client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

22. Continuous Improvement

23. Introduce innovative construction methods, technologies, and labor-saving techniques.

24. Promote sustainability and energy-efficient construction practices.

25. Mentor and develop talent within the division to build future leaders.

Work Location: In person
