Were looking for a Human Resource Director to lead The Good Way Team
Development, our people-first function that helps shape how we recruit,
onboard, develop, and support our team. Youll be part of our executive
leadership group and play a vital role in designing systems and rhythms that
help our people thrive.
This isnt a traditional HR role. Its strategic. Its relational. Its operational. Its
human.
This version of the role is lean by design: it focuses on organizational
development, documentation, team performance systems, and people care,
without immediate reliance on digital automation. Youll be empowered to build

the foundation first and gradually introduce tools and automation when the
timing is right.
Role Focus: HR and Team Development
While the Project Management Team leads The Hospitality Program, the HR
Director is responsible for building the ecosystem that helps people embody
that culture: through recruitment, documentation, onboarding, feedback, and
career growth.
This role is about creating a workplace where people are seen, supported, and
set up to succeed, with structure and systems that reflect care.
What the HR Director Leads:
Recruitment & Onboarding Build systems to bring in aligned, capable
people and onboard them with intention.
Human Resource Director Department: The Good Way Team Development Culture & People) 2
Performance Conversations Create consistent check-in rhythms,
feedback structures, and growth frameworks.
Career Development & Training Launch The Employee Academy;
implement in-house certification paths and career ladders.
Compensation & Appraisal Systems Ensure fair, values-aligned growth
and salary structures.
SOP & Documentation Own internal documentation processes across
teams, including support for Hospitality SOPs. This will be a work in
collaboration with the Project Management Team.
HR Systems Initially manual; automation will follow once internal
processes are stable.
Compliance Coordination Ensure mandatory obligations and external
agency requirements across teams are complied together with Compliance
Officer.
What the HR Director Supports (Not Leads):
The Hospitality Program (Led by the Project Management Team)
Support documentation of behavioral standards and principles
Embed those principles into onboarding and training structures
Align reviews, policies, and systems with The Good Ways expectations
Quarter 1 Priorities: How HR Supports The Good Way
1. Documentation & SOP Alignment
Partner with department heads to document and align key SOPs
Use Notion or Google Docs for nowsimple, reliable tools
2. Hospitality Program Integration (Support Role)
Attend trainings to align on tone, language, and behavior standards
Support integration of hospitality behavior into onboarding and team
expectations
3. Employee Academy & Certification
Launch development tracks per role

Create simple training guides, progress maps, and recognition models
4. System Stabilization (Before Automation)
Strengthen manual HR workflows
Identify pain points before digitizing processes
Recommend automation plans only after system stability is achieved
