Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Leader to head the Manila-based team of our client. This is a high-impact leadership role, responsible for driving growth in the Philippines, building trusted client partnerships, and leading a team of sales professionals to deliver cutting-edge compliance and digital transformation solutions.

The successful candidate will bring both strategic vision and hands-on leadership, with a proven ability to exceed ambitious targets and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of 3–5 sales professionals.
  • Cultivate a high-performance culture rooted in accountability and collaboration.

Strategic Growth

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and surpass growth targets.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across multiple sectors.

Client Engagement

  • Build strong, long-term client relationships as a trusted advisor.
  • Partner with clients to deliver tailored solutions in compliance and digital transformation.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing and product teams to design go-to-market campaigns.
  • Provide client feedback to support service innovation and market positioning.

Performance Excellence

  • Utilise CRM and analytics tools to track KPIs, forecast sales, and improve performance.
  • Conduct training and reviews to continuously upskill team members.

Market Presence

  • Represent the company at industry events, networking forums, and client meetings.
  • Strengthen the client's position as a leader in digital transformation and compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years' experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in B2B environments.
  • Background in cybersecurity, compliance, technology consulting, or digital transformation is highly advantageous.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and scaling teams.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical, data-driven, and adaptable in high-growth environments.
