Job Summary: The Medical Record Assistant plays a crucial role in managing and safeguarding patient records within our clinic. This position ensures the precise organization, maintenance, and security of all health records, supporting the delivery of high-quality healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately maintain and update patient health records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate the smooth processing of patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Retrieve and distribute medical records as requested by clinic physicians and nursing staff.
  • Implement and uphold privacy laws and standards, particularly those pertaining to medical information (e.g., HIPS).
  • Transition paper records to electronic formats while ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of all patient information.
  • Conduct periodic audits of health records to verify compliance with established standards and accuracy.
  • Train and support clinic staff on effective record management and documentation practices.
  • Handle external requests for medical information, ensuring proper authorization prior to release.
  • Promote a secure and confidential handling of all patient records.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
