  1. Maintains and complies with established policies and procedures, objectives, safety, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards of the center.

  2. Performs all required procedures related to counting and identification of blood cells, coagulation studies and other specialized hematological procedures.

  3. Centrifugates blood specimens in test tubes and capillary tubes to separate cells and sediment from blood serum.

  4. Inoculates, cultivates, classifies and identifies microorganisms found in body fluids, exudates etc. and provides patient data.

  5. Prepares and interprets Gram and Acid fast stains as necessary.

  6. Consults with Chief Medical Technologist regarding difficult analysis or abnormal findings.

  7. Make an assessment through the examination that will pass through the physician.

  8. Utilizes MIS to record and maintain test results.

  9. Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings etc.

  10. Keep and assure the confidentiality of the examined specimen.

  11. Check and look after the maintenance of all kinds of equipments used in the laboratories for performing various tests

  12. Make sure that required chemicals and infrastructure are available in the laboratory.

  13. Accepts other assignments as delegated by Chief Medical Technologists/ Management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
