Job Summary:

The Accounting Intern will assist the Accounting Department in performing day-to-day financial and administrative tasks. The intern will gain practical experience in accounting operations, financial documentation, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and encoding of accounting entries, vouchers, and supporting documents.
  • Help in the monitoring and reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable.
  • Support in the preparation of monthly financial reports and schedules.
  • Organize and maintain accounting files and records.
  • Assist with payroll preparation, petty cash monitoring, and reimbursement processing.
  • Participate in inventory checking and other financial audits, if required.
  • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial data and documents.
  • Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by the Accounting Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Accountancy, Management Accounting, or any related business course.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and willing to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • With good communication and interpersonal skills.
