EMPLOYEE JOB DESCRIPTION: JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT

Minimum 1-2 years of accounting experience required.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.

Financial record maintenance

Bookkeeping – record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the accounting system of

the client. Track income, expenses, assets, and liabilities to ensure accurate financial records.

Account Schedule Maintenance – set up, organize, update, and review account schedules in a

financial system or accounting software.

Proficiency in basic accounting software required.

Lapsing and Asset Monitoring – maintain, and manage physical and intangible assets throughout

their lifecycle—from acquisition to disposal.

Trial Balance Maintenance – ensure that all general ledger account balances are accurate, up-todate,

and properly balanced.

Reconciliation – reconcile bank transactions, credit card accounts and other financial

discrepancy to resolve and analyzing the information.

Tax Compliance – Preparing and file the tax returns on a timely basis and assisting with the

tax planning and audits if needed.

Prior experience with Philippine tax compliance systems required.

Reporting – Preparing the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and generate ad-hoc

financial reports upon request of the management.

Statement of Financial Position (Balance Sheet)

Statement of Profit & Loss (Income Statement)

Statement of Changes in Equity

Statement of Cash Flows

Audit Assistance – Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits.

Ensuring compliance with internal and external policies and financial regulations.

Governmental Remittance (SSS/PHIC/HDMF) – Process the government remittance of the

employees of the client.
