Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws (e.g., BIR filings, VAT, withholding tax) and mandatory government contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff performance.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA license preferred).
  • At least 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Proven experience in tax compliance and statutory reporting, including BIR returns, VAT, withholding taxes, and mandatory government contributions.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
