We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable VA Accounts Support to assist an Australian client with day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone with Xero experience, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a remote environment.


Position: Accounts Support
Core Responsibilities
  • Perform accurate data entry of financial transactions into Xero and other internal systems.
  • Assist with basic accounting tasks, including reconciliations (no BAS, GST, or compliance work).
  • Prepare and send client invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Conduct Accounts Receivable (AR) follow-ups, send payment reminders, and communicate with clients regarding outstanding balances.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable and flag any discrepancies.
  • Provide general admin support to the finance team while ensuring compliance with internal policies.
  • Assist with admin and order fulfilment tasks as required from time to time.

Minimum Required Skills & Experience
  • Xero experience is required (data entry, invoicing, reconciliation).
  • Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Experience with invoicing and AR follow-ups.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets and office productivity tools.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team.
