  • Invoice Processing: Receive, verify, and process incoming invoices from vendors and suppliers.
  • Payment Management: Authorize and process payments to vendors, ensuring they are timely and accurate according to company policy.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable records and statements, comparing them to ensure all transactions and amounts are accurate.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve discrepancies, missing documents, or other issues with invoices or payments.
  • Vendor Relations: Manage vendor relationships, ensuring smooth communication and facilitating a continuous supply of goods and services.
  • Compliance: Ensure all AP activities comply with the company's financial policies, procedures, and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze general expenses, expense reports, and payment cycles to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve working capital.
  • Workflow Optimization: Participate in efforts to optimize the AP workflow and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Auditing & Reporting: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
  • General Ledger Entries: Allocate and code invoices to the correct general ledger accounts, classes, and ensure accurate sales tax is applied.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: A background in finance or accounting is typically required.
  • Attention to Detail: Crucial for accurately processing financial data and identifying discrepancies.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and suggest process improvements.
  • Communication Skills: Essential for liaising with vendors, internal departments (like logistics, sales, HR), and finance officers.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: To resolve payment issues and discrepancies effectively.
  • Organizational Skills: For managing high volumes of transactions, documents, and records.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with accounting software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and electronic vendor databases.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Php20,000.00 per month
