About the role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll, Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join our dynamic team at iOPEX Tech'. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for administering and processing payroll, as well as managing employee compensation and benefits programs. Based in Taguig City, Metro Manila, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely payment of our employees.

What you'll be doing

  • Process bi-weekly payroll, including calculating gross-to-net, withholding taxes, and other deductions
  • Maintain employee payroll and benefits records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies
  • Liaise with external payroll and benefits providers to resolve any issues or discrepancies
  • Prepare and file all necessary payroll-related tax forms and reports
  • Assist with the implementation of new payroll and HR systems and processes
  • Provide support and guidance to employees regarding payroll and benefits-related inquiries

What we're looking for

  • College Graduate of Psychology, Humanities/Liberal Arts, Human Resource Management, or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in a payroll, compensation, and benefits role, preferably within the technology industry
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficient in the use of payroll and HR management software, such as Oracle or ADP
  • Thorough understanding of local labour laws and payroll-related regulations
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex payroll and benefits information to employees
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, while ensuring the timely and accurate completion of tasks
  • A minimum of 6 months experience within the talent acquisition field on a BPO set up handling Sourcing or Recruitment process of Volume Hiring and/or Support and Leadership

  • Must be amenable to work onsite in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City
