Job Description:

  • Responsible in the preparation of audited financial statements.
  • Responsible in the application of BOl registered projects, availment of certificate of entitlement, compliance and other reports.
  • Responsible in coordinating the BIR LOA, LGU LOA and other examinations to External Consultants, BIR, LGU, and submission of related documents.
  • Responsible in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports such as interim FS.
  • Responsible in NOAH accounting procedures entries as related to overall operations.
  • Directly in charge in consolidation of annual budget.
  • Directly in charge in Accounting Operations, tax calendar and other government compliance.
  • Benchmarks with best practices and keeps the company abreast and updated on latest trends in accounting tools, systems and processes in order to further enhance and streamline the efficient workflow of the department to make it more relevant to the changing needs and demands of the business.
  • Ensures the integrity of the company's financial management reports and that these are properly, timely and accurately submitted as per compliance with requirements of government agencies and financial and banking institutions.
  • Ensures that all financial transactions and statements are backed up by general ledger reports and additional schedules to institutionalize effective controls as well as checks and balances so as to eliminate fraud, accidental errors and improper recording of transactions.
  • Reviews the company's financial policies and guidelines on regular basis and provides recommendations in amending existing policies and/or formulating new policies for approval by the Accounting Manager/AVP - Finance, to ensure compliance with evolving changes in local taxation laws.
  • Develops strategic plans and programs for Accounting Department and ensures that goals and objectives are properly defined and clearly established.
  • Conducts and implements "Performance Management Program" through performance coaching, counselling, mentoring and continuing developmental assignment for high potential employees.
  • Performs training and development functions.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant.
  • Minimum six (6) years of relevant management experience in accounting and finance preferably gained from real estate/property development industry.
  • Excellent background and track record in financial management, financial planning and analysis, financial policies and investor relations and financial reporting. Knowledge of local taxation laws is a must.
  • Strong management competencies in the areas of executive and leadership development, managerial coaching and mentoring and situational assessment skills and with proven track record in building and developing high performing teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and adept in interpreting strategic vision into an operational business and financial models.
  • Effective communicator at all levels in the organization, with strong oral, written and presentation skills.
  • Strong work ethics and values, trustworthy and with high level of professionalism and personal integrity.
  • Outstanding ability in addressing customer needs. With excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Very highly organized and capable of handling simultaneous work pressures.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications such as word, excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must be willing to work in Makati.
