We are seeking a highly-skilled and motivated Accounting Manager to oversee all aspects of our accounting operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, leading the month-end close process, and providing critical insights to support strategic decision-making. This is a pivotal role for someone who is not only a technical expert but also a proven leader, ready to mentor a team and contribute to the financial health and scalability of our organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Accounting Operations & Compliance:

  • Oversee the entire month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
  • Manage the preparation and distribution of internal financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and management reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all local regulatory requirements and GAAP.
  • Lead the annual financial audit and tax preparation process, serving as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5 accounting staff, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Staff Accountants.
  • Manage workload distribution, conduct performance reviews, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Review the team's work to ensure accuracy and adherence to deadlines.

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze financial data and trends, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to leadership.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgets, and variances, investigating and explaining discrepancies.

Systems & Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance system efficiencies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) certification is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Proven experience leading the month-end close process and managing external audits.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
