JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of BS in Customs Administration, Supply Chain, and Logistics, or any related degree.
  • With proven work experience as an Operations Assistant in Freight Forwarding with at least 1- 2 years.
  • Knowledgeable in IMPORT and EXPORT and/or using E2M.
  • Familiar in Lodgment and Manifestation.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Organizational Skills and keen on details.
  • Comprehensive understanding of customer requirements.
  • Can work with minimal supervision.
  • Amenable to work in Cagayan De Oro (CDO) areas and can start ASAP.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

IMPORT:

  • Accept draft and pre-alert documents.
  • Follow-up Arrival notice to shipping lines, consolidators, and airlines.
  • Encode, submit and validate cargo manifest.
  • Send arrival notice to consignee and consignee's broker.
  • Follow-up billing invoices from the carriers.
  • Create a "request for payment" for the local carriers.
  • Send through email the deposit slip to the carrier as confirmation of payment.
  • In charge of the freight transaction files closing in the IKON system.

EXPORT:

  • Export document: action for LCL/ AIR, such as FSI
  • ·Create a "request for payment" for the carriers.
  • Send through email the deposit slip to the carrier as confirmation of payment.
  • In charge of the freight transaction files closing in the IKON system. 3. DOMESTIC
  • Send Arrival / Departure Notice with waybill to customer.
  • Follow-up invoices to the carrier.
  • Create a "request for payment" for the carriers.
  • In charge of the freight transaction files closing in the IKON system.

COORDINATE TRANSPORT & DELIVERY:

  • Look for the availability of accredited trucks and other equipment (if any).
  • Responsible for the truck rates negotiation but with supervision.
  • Coordinate with a trucker for the scope of work, pick-up, delivery, and monitoring.
  • Send an update to Sales and CS for the delivery status.
  • Responsible for follow-up on the truck billing.
  • Create a "request for payment" for the carriers.
  • Responsible for the trucking transaction files closing in the IKON system.
  • Willing to be assigned in Cagayan De Oro City areas.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php13, Php15,000.00 per month
