Job Title: Telco Design Engineer (Tower/Cell Sites)

Job Summary:

Responsible for designing and preparing detailed engineering plans for telecommunication tower and cell site projects, ensuring compliance with structural, electrical, and telecom standards. Coordinates with project teams and local authorities to deliver cost-effective, safe, and high-quality site designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and prepare detailed design drawings for cell towers, rooftop sites, and related telecom infrastructure using AutoCAD or similar software.
  • Create layouts for tower foundations, equipment shelters, antenna mounts, cable routing, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct site surveys to gather technical data, assess terrain, and verify design feasibility.
  • Ensure designs meet structural integrity standards, wind load requirements, and local building codes.
  • Coordinate with Local Government Units (LGUs) and permitting agencies to incorporate regulatory requirements into designs.
  • Collaborate with project managers, civil/structural engineers, and field teams to implement approved designs.
  • Review as-built drawings and update plans based on field changes or client feedback.
  • Prepare bill of materials (BOM), cost estimates, and technical specifications for procurement and construction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Electrical, or Electronics and Communications Engineering (Licensed Engineer preferred).
  • Experience in telecom tower/cell site design, structural layout, or related engineering work.
  • Proficiency in design/drafting tools (AutoCAD, ZWCAD, or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of tower structural standards, grounding systems, and telecom equipment layouts.
  • Familiarity with permitting processes and local regulations for cell site construction.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, conduct field inspections, and meet tight project deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php50, Php60,000.00 per month
