Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Support Specialist to assist in the administration of payroll operations across multiple Southeast Asian entities. This role involves supporting payroll processing, managing employee queries, maintaining payroll templates and trackers, and contributing to process improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with regional payroll teams and report directly to a designated manager. This position follows a hybrid work arrangement, requiring 3 days on-site and 2 days remote per week AFTER 2 MONTHS ONSITE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for payroll operations covering Southeast Asia countries.
  • Manage the initial review and triage of employee cases before assigning them to payroll advisors.
  • Assist in resolving simple payroll-related queries and employee concerns.
  • Collect, consolidate, and review payroll input submissions from various stakeholders.
  • Participate in payroll validation activities by identifying and reporting errors in vendor-generated payroll outputs.
  • Create and maintain payroll templates, trackers, and related toolkits to ensure process consistency and compliance.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and special payroll projects as required.

Key Metrics & Performance Indicators:

  • Payroll Timeliness: Ensure that 99% of employees are paid on time.
  • Payroll Accuracy: Achieve 99% payroll correctness, measured through peer reviews, escalations, and feedback.
  • Case Management: Ensure 90% of assigned payroll cases are resolved within the designated timeframe.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in payroll, HR administration, or shared services environment is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with data templates and trackers.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
