About the Role

ASAP Auto Group is growing fast, and we need someone who loves numbers, organisation, and accuracy. This role isn't just about processing payroll—it's about making sure our financial systems are clean, clear, and running smoothly.

You'll handle payroll from end to end, keep our spreadsheets sharp, manage data inside , and catch any number errors before they become problems. If you enjoy turning messy info into well-structured systems and take pride in being the "go-to" numbers person, this role is for you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Run payroll accurately and on time—no surprises, no delays.
  • Track timesheets, leave, deductions, and employee changes.
  • Manage invoices, payments, and basic bookkeeping tasks.
  • Build and maintain spreadsheets that actually make sense and drive decisions.
  • Use formulas and data checks to ensure everything balances.
  • Keep financial boards and workflows updated in
  • Cross-check numbers between systems and spot inconsistencies fast.
  • Reconcile bank statements and support month-end reports.
  • Help the team solve payroll or finance-related issues quickly and professionally.

What We're Looking For

  • 2–3 years of experience in accounting, payroll, or finance administration.
  • High proficiency in Xero (preferred) and strong Excel/Google Sheets skills—confident with formulas, pivot tables, and tracking.
  • Experience using is a bonus, but it's a smaller part of the role (or you're a quick learner with similar tools).
  • Razor-sharp attention to detail—you don't let errors slide.
  • Solid understanding of payroll processes (AU payroll experience is a plus).
  • Comfortable working independently and consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Clear, professional communicator.
  • Tech-friendly and adaptable to new tools and systems.
