Brief Description

A Payroll Officer processes payments to employees in a timely manner certifications are available. A Payroll Officer is responsible for processing payroll, remitting payroll taxes and government reporting as well as preparing monthly, quarterly and year-end payroll statements. He/ she will ensure compliance with government regulations, establishing and implementing policies on matters such as payroll advancements to employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with official bank/s of JKFC for the opening of debit cards of newly hired employees as company's procedure on providing payment for salary & wages.
  • Prepare Payroll of Joe Kuan Food Corp. employees, excluding the JKFC outlet personnel, in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently
  • Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information
  • Determines payroll liabilities by calculating employee benefits and taxes, and other authorized salary deductions and charges.
  • Updates newly hired employees and terminated employees to the payroll system
  • Assist to Resolving payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests of employees and management.
  • Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Assist to the documentation of monitoring of tardiness and absences of JKFC employees.
  • Perform another task duly assigned by the Executive Manager
