Marketing Account Executive

The Marketing Account Executive will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, responsible for developing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships while ensuring client satisfaction. This role combines client service, account management, and business development responsibilities, with a strong focus on identifying opportunities and setting up qualified leads for the business development team. This position reports directly to the Marketing Account Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main liaison between clients and the company, ensuring clear communication and a deep understanding of client needs.
  • Build and nurture relationships with clients, based on trust, respect, and mutual benefit.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client objectives are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Conduct research and analysis to understand consumer behavior, industry trends, and target markets.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of client accounts, communications, and inventory.
  • Stay up to date with company products, services, and industry developments.
  • Proactively resolve client concerns and suggest process improvements to enhance the overall client experience.
  • Identify new opportunities for growth through research, lead generation, and market analysis (e.g., SWOT assessments).
  • Prospect and qualify new leads using multiple channels (email, phone calls, social media, chat, referrals, etc.).
  • Follow up with past contacts to re-engage and identify potential opportunities.
  • Schedule meetings and set appointments with qualified leads for the Business Development team.
  • Serve as a client advocate and contribute to improving the buyer journey.
  • Participate in team strategy meetings, offering insights on client needs and market opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Marketing Account Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in account management, marketing, or sales.
  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas and activity metrics.
  • Strong track record of managing client relationships and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and confidently.
  • Strong media relations experience is a plus.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and digital communication tools.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn and Sales Navigator is preferred.
  • Onsite role at our McKinley Hill Campus.
