Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Mandaluyong for a Chief Accountant. The Chief Accountant will oversee and manage the financial operations, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with accounting regulations. Responsibilities include budget planning, preparing financial forecasts, monitoring expenditures, and conducting audits to ensure accuracy and integrity in financial records. The role also includes managing the accounting team and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize financial performance and transparency.

Qualifications

  • CPA board passer with relevant managerial experience
  • Strong accounting and financial management expertise, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in tools and systems related to financial analysis and accounting software
  • Leadership and organizational skills to manage an accounting team effectively
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and excellent analytical skills
  • Firm understanding of tax regulations, compliance standards, and auditing principles
  • Proven experience working in a similar role, particularly in non-profit or humanitarian organizations, is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups
