Job Description

  • Analyzes records of financial transactions to determine accuracy and completeness of entries. Prepares standard journals on a monthly basis.
  • Coordinates accounting matters with other departments, locations and divisions.
  • Analyzes trends for expense accounts to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensures financial control of entity balance sheets through regular financial reconciliation, preparation, and review.
  • Reviews and analyzes inventory balances to ensure accuracy. Responsible for identifying and resolving noted issues. Partners with the Operations team to ensure financial control around inventory.
  • Reviews pricing conditions for areas of responsibility on a regular basis and provide recommendations for any changes to Regional Accountants.
  • Contributes to the identification and implementation of process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting.
  • Ensures tax compliance across European countries including preparation and review of analysis of tax return information required for the UK Tax Group and periodic returns. Prepare and assist with statutory returns as required.
  • Conducts special financial and business-related studies as requested.
  • Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting graduate with at least 5 years of experience preferably in BPO / Shared Service Industry.
  • Experience with managing UK clients.
  • Experience with SAP or comparable business system and any accounting software.
  • Conversant in IFRS and US GAAP.
  • Must be willing to work late afternoon schedules (UK hours) and during PH Holidays.
  • Must be able to work at Alabang, Muntinlupa when work in the office resumes.
