The General Accounting Staff will support the finance & accounting team by handling day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This role assists in maintaining the financial records of the company and provides critical support in budgeting, reconciliation, and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process vendor invoices, prepare payments, and ensure proper documentation
  • Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers
  • Monitor customer payments and outstanding balances; follow up on collections
  • Assist with monthly closing activities (e.g. accruals, amortizations, journal entries)
  • Prepare financial reports or summaries as needed by management
  • Assist in audit preparation and liaise with auditors
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
  • Perform general ledger maintenance and periodic account reconciliations
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g. operations, procurement) for invoice and expense validation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in retail, F&B, or similar industries
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle) and MS Excel
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks
  • Experience in restaurant, food & beverage, or multi‑branch companies
  • Knowledge of internal controls and process improvements
  • Understanding of cost accounting, inventory, or branch accounting

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
