About the role

As the Distribution Manager at Bayanilife Inc., you will be responsible for overseeing the company's logistics and distribution operations. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Pangasinan, Ilocos Region. In this strategic position, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of Bayanilife's products to customers across the region.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and coordinate all distribution and logistics activities, including inventory management, warehouse operations, and transportation planning
  2. Develop and implement effective distribution strategies to optimise costs, minimise delivery times, and meet customer service level agreements
  3. Oversee the scheduling and routing of delivery vehicles to ensure on-time and reliable product deliveries
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales and production, to align distribution plans with business objectives
  5. Monitor and analyse distribution performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  6. Manage and develop a team of distribution and logistics personnel, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies governing distribution and logistics operations

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a distribution or logistics management role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or warehousing industry
  2. Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, including inventory control, transportation management, and warehouse operations
  3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and implement practical solutions
  4. Proficient in using logistics and distribution software, as well as data analysis tools to track and report on performance metrics
  5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  6. Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team of distribution and logistics personnel
  7. Relevant degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
