The HR Payroll Officer is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll, government-mandated contributions, and related reports.
The role also involves verifying timekeeping records, handling employee deductions, preparing final pay, and coordinating with finance/accounting for payroll-related transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administering payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements.
- Conducting regular job evaluations and compensation reviews.
- Ensuring compliance with labor laws, government regulations, and tax requirements for compensation and payroll.
- Preparing and managing the payroll budget, including incentives and overtime payments.
- Generating and maintaining accurate payroll and benefits records.
- Addressing employee inquiries about salary, benefits, and deductions.
- Verify accuracy of timekeeping/timesheet reports and supporting documents (leaves and overtime forms).
- Process ATM application.
- Administer government-mandated benefits such as SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other statutory programs, ensuring accurate and timely remittance and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, HR.
- At least 1-3 years of experience in payroll processing and government remittances.
- Strong knowledge of SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR regulations.
- Proficient in payroll systems (SAP is an advantage).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
